Best ever, every time I visit LA, my favorite place to eat is Magees,average 4 times per year, unless it's Saint Paddy's day, I always order the same thing which is the French dip, side of mayo, and a side of the best Lima beans, every Saint Paddy's day I always get the same thing. The corn beef is the best in the world, you're carver will allow you to have it thinly sliced or thick sliced or whatever your preferences it's always super lean so you don't have to ask him to cut off the fat I get the platter its served with parsley potatoes and cabbage and I get a side of vinegar to plant on top of my cabbage as you can see I'm probably a little fussy about my food and they have no problem accommodating me or any other page running with special service. I give it five stars. Hope you all visit and check out the Nut stand as well, Truly remarkable and the best quality five stars all the way with the nightstand as well

Went here for the first time and ordered the corned beef plate. Absolutely Delicious!! I got it with probably the best tasting coleslaw and creamed spinach. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area!?

Farmer's Market is a 40 minute drive but well worth it because I always stop by Magee's Kitchen for this: The original corned beef sandwich is so good and sometimes I order it separate from the rye bread to be enjoyed at dinner (just reheat the corned beef in a toaster oven and it is still juicy and delicious. It comes with a sliced pickle but I also order a side of coleslaw.

Growing up mother would take us as a special treat to have a French Dip sandwich. I now live in southern Orange County but the need to eat this outstanding food item has never lessened. I drive for two hours to treat myself to this mouth-watering sandwich. It truly is the best sandwich in all of Southern California.
